Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. jam
    3 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Stir in jam.
    Sift together dry ingredients, adding little at a time with milk.
    Stir in raisins.
    Pour batter into 2 greased 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
