Swedish Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. soda
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. raw apple, grated
1/2 c. nut meats
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and blend well.
Sift soda, nutmeg, flour, cinnamon and add to creamed mixture.
Add vanilla, apples and nuts.
Bake in well-greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
Remove and spread with topping.
