Shredded Wheat Raised Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 shredded wheat biscuits
    1 Tbsp. shortening
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    1 pt. boiling water
    1 yeast cake or 1 Tbsp. dry yeast
    4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except yeast and flour.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Add yeast and flour; let rise until double.
    Punch down and let rise again (not necessary).
    Put dough on lightly floured board and knead slightly.
    Cut into rolls and put in well-greased pan to rise.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 oven for about 15 to 20 minutes. May need to cover with foil after 10 minutes to keep from browning.
