Fig Berry Preserves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. mashed figs
    3 pkg. (3 oz. each) strawberry gelatin
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Thoroughly mix figs, gelatin and sugar in a large saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat and continue boiling for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Pour quickly into glasses.
    Cover at once with 1/8 inch of hot paraffin.
