Eddie'S Beet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. water
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. whole cloves
    1 stick cinnamon
Preparation
    Cook and skin enough beets to make 4 pints.
    Cover whole or sliced beets with sugar, water and vinegar; simmer 20 minutes. Add spices the last 10 minutes.
