Date Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. candied cherries, cut in half
    2 lb. dates, cut in half
    1 lb. pecans chopped
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix in a large bowl cherries, dates and pecans.
    Sift over that the sugar, flour, baking soda and salt.
    Mix well.
    Beat 4 eggs until foamy, add 1 teaspoon vanilla and pour over mixture. Mix well.
    Grease bottom of tube cake pan, put a paper over bottom and grease again.
    Pack dough into pan and bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
