Scottish Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    4 c. flour
    1 c. 10x sugar
    2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
    sprinkle of colored sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar and flour.
    Knead with hands.
    Place in pan.
    Flatten, then prick with fork.
    Sprinkle with colored sugar crystals.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake for 15 minutes.
    Turn down oven to 300\u00b0 and bake another 30 minutes, until golden brown on edges.
    Turn off oven and leave in oven overnight.
    Cut into squares when cool.
