Grandma Mcmurry'S Corn Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    3/4 c. cornmeal
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. franks
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except franks.
    Dry franks and roll in flour.
    Dip into batter.
    Use a toothpick to retrieve the franks and deep fry in hot oil until golden brown.
