Oyster Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. toasted bread crumbs
    1/2 c. melted butter
    2 pt. oysters
    1/2 c. whipping cream
    2 tsp. dry sherry
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of cayenne pepper
Preparation
    Combine bread crumbs and butter, stirring until well coated. Sprinkle 1/3 of the crumbs in a greased 9-inch baking dish. Drain oysters, reserving 1/4 cup liquid.
    Spoon half the oysters over crumbs. Repeat layers. Combine whipping cream, reserved oyster liquid, sherry and seasonings.
    Stir well.
    Pour over oysters and sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Yields 6 servings.
