Mccall'S Microwave Sweet-And-Sour Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
    3 Tbsp. sherry
    4 tsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 medium green pepper
    1 medium red pepper
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 (20 oz.) can pineapple chunks in heavy syrup
    1 Tbsp. slivered fresh ginger (optional)
Preparation
    In large, shallow microwave-safe dish, toss chicken with sherry, 2 teaspoons soy sauce and the ground ginger.
    Remove and discard stem, rib and seeds from peppers.
    Cut peppers into strips. Cut strips in half crosswise; set aside.
