Cheesy Chicken Mac Bake - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
dash of pepper
3 c. cooked elbow macaroni (1 1/2 c. uncooked)
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
1 (3 oz.) can chunk white chicken, drained
Preparation

In 2-quart saucepan, in hot margarine, cook onion until tender.
Stir in soup, milk and pepper until smooth.
Add macaroni, cheese (reserve 1/4 cup cheese) and chicken.
Pour mixture into 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Top with reserved cheese; bake until cheese melts.
