Apricot Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    3 oz. apricot jello
    1/4 c. sugar
    3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1/2 c. cold water
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. Cool Whip
Preparation
    Cream dry jello with cream cheese. Bring sugar and pineapple to a boil; add to jello mixture and mix well. Add cold water and chill until it begins to set. Stir in Cool Whip and nuts and chill until congealed.
