Cool Easy Jello Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box white cake mix
    1 large pkg. jello
    1 container Cool Whip OR 1 pt. whipping cream blended with 1/8 c. sugar
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bake cake according to box directions and let cool.
    Prepare jello as directed.
    When cake is cool, poke several holes with a knife.
    Pour liquid jello over cake and refrigerate several hours. Spread Cool Whip over cake just before serving, OR whip cream until peaks form; add sugar and vanilla, and spread over cake.
