Cantonese Beef - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 pkg. brown gravy mix
    3 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. ground ginger
    1 red pepper, cut into thin strips
    1 (8 oz.) can sliced chestnuts, drained
    4 green onions, sliced diagonally into 1-inch pieces
    1 1/2 c. Minute rice
Preparation
    Brown beef in oil in large skillet about 5 minutes.
    Combine water, gravy mix, soy sauce and ginger.
    Add red pepper, water chestnuts and green onions.
    Bring to full boil.
    Stir in rice. Cover; remove from heat.
    Let stand 5 minutes.
    Fluff with fork. Makes 4 servings.
