Soft Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. light molasses
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    3/4 c. strong cold coffee
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs and molasses; beat well. Sift together dry ingredients; add alternately with the coffee to dry ingredients.
    Drop from teaspoon onto greased and floured baking sheet.
    Bake for 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Makes 7 dozen.
