Veal Stew With Cauliflower - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. veal, cut in 1-inch cubes
    3 Tbsp. oil
    2 medium to large onions, quartered
    1 c. sliced celery
    2 c. water
    1 tsp. thyme
    1 small head cauliflower
    12 mushrooms, halved
    1/2 c. dry sherry
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Dredge meat in flour, seasoned with salt and pepper.
    Heat oil in skillet; add meat and brown it.
    Pour off pan drippings.
    Add onions, celery, water and thyme.
    Bring to a boil; simmer for about 1 hour.
    Break cauliflower into flowerets.
    Add to stew; fold in gently.
    Simmer 15 minutes longer until cauliflower is tender.
