Macaroni Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. macaroni
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 medium onion, chopped and sauteed
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese, grated
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    dash of garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. oregano
    3 or 4 slices green pepper
Preparation
    Cook macaroni by package directions.
    Brown onions and ground beef.
    Add salt, pepper, tomatoes, oregano and garlic; simmer for a few minutes.
    In layers, start with sauce in baking dish.
    Add 1/2 macaroni; top with more sauce and 1/2 of grated cheese.
    Add the rest of the macaroni.
    Pour rest of sauce over casserole; top with remaining cheese.
    Garnish with 3 or 4 slices of green pepper.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
