Orange Cheese Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange flavored gelatin
    1/2 c. sharp, grated cheese
    2/3 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
Preparation
    Bring pineapple, sugar and water to a boil.
    Dissolve gelatin in hot mixture.
    Cool in refrigerator until it is the consistency of egg whites.
    Add cheese and nuts.
    Fold in dessert topping. Pour into mold and refrigerate until set.
