Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. milk
3 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
a little cinnamon
pinch of salt
prepared pastry shell
Preparation
-
Scald milk.
Mix together the eggs, sugar, vanilla, spices and salt.
Pour scalded milk into mixture and blend well.
Pour into prepared pastry shell.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Pie is baked well when knife inserted in pie comes out clean.
