Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. milk
3 to 3 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
-
Beat eggs well.
Add sugar, then shortening and beat well. Add the milk.
Stir in sifted ingredients.
Chill dough for 2 hours.
