Fish And Shellfish Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. cooking oil
2 onions, chopped
1 tsp. garlic powder
8 green onions, sliced
1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1 large green pepper, sliced
2 cans tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 pt. oysters, with liquor
2 c. red wine
salt and pepper
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. oregano
1 Tbsp. chili powder
3 potatoes, sliced
3 lb. fish chunks
1 lb. crab meat
1 lb. shrimp, shelled
4 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation

Saute the mushrooms, onions and green pepper until the pepper is soft.
Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce and wine.
Bring to a simmer and add the garlic powder, spices and potatoes.
Simmer for about 25 minutes.
Add the fish chunks and cook about 5 minutes. Add crabmeat, oysters with liquor and shrimp; simmer another 5 minutes or until the shrimp have turned pink.
Serve sprinkled with chopped parsley.
