Double Apple Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. whole wheat flour (use whole wheat pastry flour if available)
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. wheat bran
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. canola oil
1/4 c. molasses
3/4 c. unsweetened applesauce
1/4 c. skim milk
1 medium apple, finely chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Spray muffin tins with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, mix together dry ingredients until thoroughly mixed.
In a medium bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. Stir in remaining ingredients, one at a time, beating after each addition.
