Chicken Pie - cooking recipe

6 Tbsp. butter
6 Tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 3/4 c. chicken broth
2/3 c. milk
2 c. cooked chicken, diced
2 c. mixed vegetables
Preparation

Prepare pastry.
Roll out and line a casserole dish with dough.
Melt butter.
Add flour and seasoning.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until smooth.
Add liquids and cook slowly until thickened.
Add chicken and vegetables.
Pour mixture into pastry lined casserole dish.
Top with remaining pastry. Pinch edges together.
Cut some vents in top crust.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
