Curried Cream Of Fruit Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 stalk celery
    1 medium banana
    1 medium Granny Smith apple
    1 medium potato (raw without skin)
    24 oz. chicken broth (canned)
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    2 c. heavy whipping cream
Preparation
    Chop celery and apple and slice the banana.
    In a saucepan, combine the onion, celery, banana, apple, potato and broth and simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes or until the potato is tender.
    In a blender, puree the mixture with the curry powder and the pepper.
    Return the mixture to the pan and stir in the cream.
    Heat the soup over moderately low heat, stirring occasionally, until it is hot, but do not let it boil.
