Apple Cake #1 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oil
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    3 c. chopped apples
    1 c. raisins
    8 oz. chopped dates
    2 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Reserve 1/2 cup flour to dredge fruit. Cream oil, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients, then fold floured fruits and nuts into mixture. Bake in tube pan or four 4 x 7 loaf pans at 325\u00b0 for 1 or 1 1/2 hours.
