Crock-Pot Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. chopped celery
    3 c. bread cubes
    3 c. corn bread cubes or 6 c. bread cubes (total)
    2 tsp. sage
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 well beaten egg
Preparation
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Saute onions and celery.
    Pour over crumbs and add seasonings.
    Toss well.
    Add broth and beaten egg, mixing well.
    Pack lightly in greased crock-pot set on High.
    Cook on High 4 hours.
    Stir mixture once or twice during cooking time. You can add mushrooms and giblets.
