Fresh Salsa - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch dice
1 medium white onion, finely chopped
1/4 c. chopped cilantro
1 tsp. oregano
2 Tbsp. jalapeno pepper, seeded and finely chopped
3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients.
Simmer for 30 minutes.
Let stand at room temperature for up to 2 hours.
Cover and refrigerate for longer storage.
Let return to room temperature before serving.
