Quick And Dirty Italian Cream Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. Stella D'Oro anisette sponge cookies
    2 small pkg. chocolate pudding or 1 large
    2 small pkg. vanilla pudding or 1 large
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 tsp. rum extract (optional)
    maraschino cherries, sliced thin
    4 oz. slivered pecans
Preparation
    Cut cookies lengthwise.
    Line bottom of 9 x 11-inch pan.
    Cook vanilla pudding; after thickens, add rum extract.
    Stir.
    Pour hot over cookies.
    Do a second layer of cookies.
    Pour hot chocolate pudding on top.
    Put cherries on pudding.
    Refrigerate.
    When cool, cover top with Cool Whip and sprinkle on pecans.
