Baked Chicken And Lentils - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. carrots, thinly sliced
    1 c. large onion, chopped
    1 c. (8 oz.) dry lentils
    1 Tbsp. instant chicken bouillon granules
    2 bay leaves
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. poultry seasonings
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 c. hot water
    4 oz. bulk Italian sausage
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken (or 4 chicken breasts), skinned
    salt, pepper and paprika to taste
Preparation
    In a 3-quart casserole, combine dry ingredients and add hot water.
    Stir gently to mix.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
