Wiener Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium onion, diced
    1/2 medium bell pepper, diced or cut into thin strips
    1/4 c. diced celery
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 to 3/4 can water
    1 tsp. sugar
    salt to taste
    chili powder to taste
    1 lb. wieners, cut in 1/4 to 1/2-inch pieces
Preparation
    Cook onion, pepper and celery in margarine until soft (about 5 minutes) over low heat.
    Add tomato sauce, water, sugar, chili powder and salt.
    Stir well.
    Add franks; let simmer.
    Serve over rice.
