Holmes Barbecue Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vinegar
    2 cans tomato paste
    1/2 green pepper
    2 medium onions
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    6 bay leaves
    6 lemons
    1/4 lb. butter
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 stalks celery
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Cut up the celery and onions. Cut lemons in half.
    Squeeze the juice but throw in the rind, too.
    Add all the other ingredients in a big pot.
    Bring to a fast boil.
    Simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Strain out and it is ready to go on your ribs or chicken.
