Amaretto - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gal. 100 proof vodka
    4 oz. almond extract
    1 fifth or 1 qt. apricot or peach brandy
    4 c. water
    6 c. brown sugar (light or dark)
Preparation
    Bring water and sugar to a boil; simmer until syrupy.
    Let cool.
    Add the extract, vodka and brandy.
    Stir well.
    Makes 5 quarts.
