Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. shortening
6 eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl and stir.
In another bowl, beat eggs, one at a time, then stir in shortening.
Add this mixture to dry ingredients; stir in one cup milk.
Add flavoring and beat until smooth.
Pour into greased pan.
Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350\u00b0 in a preheated oven.
Cool and ice.
