Pot Pie Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/3 c. water
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Combine first 3 ingredients.
    Cut in shortening as for pastry. Add water to egg and combine with flour mixture.
    Roll out very thin on floured pastry board or table.
    Cut into 2 inch squares and add to homemade chicken or beef soup.
    Cook until done, about 20 or more minutes.
