Pumpkin Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 Tbsp. pumpkin spice
    1/4 c. dry powdered milk
    2 1/3 Tbsp. shortening
    1 egg yolk
    1 small can pumpkin
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream sugar, pumpkin spice, dry milk and shortening.
    Add egg yolk.
    Add pumpkin, cake flour, flour and baking powder.
    Mix until well blended, then let dough set 10 minutes.
    Roll out on floured surface to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut with doughnut cutter and fry in deep fat at 385\u00b0.
    Makes about 4 dozen doughnuts.
