Layered Enchiladas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 1/2 lb. grated cheese
    2 cans enchilada sauce
    1 doz. corn tortillas
    1 chopped onion
Preparation
    Simmer ground beef and onion with chili powder, salt and pepper until onion is tender.
    Drain fat.
    Dip tortillas in enchilada sauce and layer as follows:
    tortilla, ground beef, cheese;
    tortilla, ground beef, cheese;
    end with tortilla and top with cheese.
    Pour remaining sauce over enchilada.
