Oatmeal Cake And Topping - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1/2 c. oleo or shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. quick oats
1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Pour water over oats.
Let stand 20 minutes.
Cream sugars, shortening and oats.
Add eggs; beat well.
Add rest of ingredients.
Bake in greased and floured pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
