Strawberry Pie(Mother'S Recipe) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
6 tsp. cornstarch
1 to 1 1/2 tsp. red food coloring
8 oz. 7-Up or Sprite
1 qt. whole strawberries
1 (9-inch) baked pie shell

Preparation

Boil first four ingredients until thickened.
Chill.
Combine with strawberries and place in pie shell.
Refrigerate several hours.
Serve with whipped topping.
