Beef Stew With Its Own Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat
    2 to 3 carrots
    2 stalks celery
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    2 medium potatoes
    3 medium onions, quartered
    3/4 c. tomato juice
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. tapioca
Preparation
    Place meat in bottom of a large casserole dish.
    Cut vegetables into bite-sized pieces and place on top of meat. Sprinkle all dry ingredients over mixture.
    Mix water and tomato juice and pour over stew.
    Bake, covered, at 250\u00b0 for 5 hours. Serve with hard rolls and salad.
    Serves 4.
