Tuna Noodle And Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. butter
1 large onion, minced
1 (No. 2) can peas, drained
2 (7 oz.) cans tuna
3 c. noodles, cooked
6 Tbsp. flour
6 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. sharp cheese, grated
Preparation

Saute onion in 2 tablespoons butter and mix with drained peas. Break tuna with fork.
Combine butter, flour, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and milk.
Make a cream sauce.
Add 1 cup grated cheese.
Cook over low flame until cheese is melted.
Place peas, noodles and tuna in greased casserole and cover with cream sauce.
Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Serves 6 to 8.
