Strawberry Surprise Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 large pkg. strawberry jello
1/2 c. cold water (for each bowl)
1 large can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup (1/2 for each bowl)
1 c. hot water (for each bowl)
2 (16 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
1 large carton sour cream
Preparation

Using 2 bowls, mix all ingredients together.
Example: One package jello, 1 cup hot water, 1/2 cup cold water, 1 package strawberries and 1/2 can of pineapple.
Do not drain strawberries and pineapple, use the juice.
After you have combined the ingredients, put half the mixture in a large square pan. Refrigerate until firm; leave other half of mixture set out.
When refrigerated jello mixture has gotten firm, spread sour cream on top, then pour the rest of the liquid mixture on top.
Refrigerate until firm.
