Pretzel Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. pretzels, crushed
    3/4 c. butter or oleo, melted
    3/4 c. and 2 Tbsp. sugar
    8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
    8 oz. Cool Whip topping
    1 large pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. sliced strawberries (fresh or frozen)
Preparation
    Spread pretzels on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Mix melted oleo or butter with 2 tablespoons sugar and pour over pretzels and bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Cool.
    Whip together the cream cheese and Cool Whip and 3/4 cup sugar.
    Spread over cooled pretzels.
    Dissolve strawberry gelatin with 2 cups boiling water.
    Add 1/2 cup cold water and the sliced strawberries.
    When cool and starting to gel, pour over the cream cheese layer and let set until firm.
