Ingredients

1 box vanilla wafers, crushed
2 c. powdered sugar
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
1/2 gal. ice cream
Preparation

Melt chocolate and butter together.
Add powdered sugar.
Then add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add vanilla.
Beat egg whites until stiff.
Put pinch of salt in egg whites before beating.
Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture.
