No Cholesterol Orange Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. corn oil
2 tsp. grated orange peel
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. orange juice
4 egg whites
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour bottom of 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
Add oil and orange juice.
Beat on medium speed until smooth.
Add peel.
In small bowl beat egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form.
Fold egg whites into flour mixture.
Turn into pan.
Bake 50 minutes or until cake springs back when slightly touched.
Cool 10 minutes in pan.
Remove and cool completely on rack.
One loaf contains about 160 calories per 1/2-inch slice.
