Festive Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    12 regular marshmallows
    1 stick margarine
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces (1 c.)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix in a heavy 2-quart saucepan the sugar, evaporated milk, marshmallows, margarine and salt.
    Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbling all over the top). Boil and stir 5 minutes more.
    Take off heat.
    Stir in chocolate pieces until completely melted.
    Stir in vanilla and nuts.
    Pour in a greased 8-inch pan.
    Cool and cut.
