Spiced Ham - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 slice gammon (200 g, 1 cm thick)
    1 level tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 to 1 level tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 to 2 level Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 small tin orange juice
    1 level tsp. cornflour
Preparation
    Wash gammon and soak in cold water for 1/2 hour.
    Mix mustard, cinnamon and brown sugar and spread on gammon.
    Put in casserole with enough orange juice to almost cover.
    Cover dish and bake until gammon is tender.
    Core apples but do not peel.
    Cut in quarters and cook gently in remainder of juice.
    Remove apples and arrange on top of gammon; keep hot.
    Thicken juice with blended cornflour.
    Serve with gammon.
    Makes 2 servings.
