Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. peppermint stick candy, crushed
    1/2 c. coffee cream
    1 1/2 tsp. gelatin, unflavored
    1 Tbsp. cold water
    1 1/4 c. heavy cream, whipped
    chocolate cookies (plain)
Preparation
    Melt crushed candy with coffee cream in a double boiler. While hot, add gelatin soaked in cold water.
    Let cool and add the whipped cream.
    Line a loaf pan with cookies.
    Make alternate layers of cookies and filling.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Slice to serve.
