Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    16 c. chopped tomatoes
    4 c. apple cider vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    4 c. chopped onions
    6 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. ground mustard
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. paprika
    2 tsp. red pepper (more or less to suit your taste)
Preparation
    In a large pot, put tomatoes, vinegar and sugar; let heat. Add onions, salt, mustard, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, paprika and red pepper; mix thoroughly. Let cook down low to desired thickness, being careful not to let it stick. Put into hot clean pint jars and seal. This will make about 8 pints.
