Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash browns, thawed
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
    2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 c. sour cream
    2 c. cornflakes, crushed and mixed with 1/4 c. melted margarine (optional)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except potatoes and cornflakes. Mix potatoes throughout the combined ingredients. Put in a 9 x 13-inch glass baking dish and sprinkle corn flakes over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Serves 8 to 10. This is great when made ahead of time and baked at last minute. May be reheated and tastes even better the next day.
