Creole Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 c. sifted flour
dash of salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. cocoa
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, oil and eggs in separate bowl.
In different bowl, mix flour, salt and cocoa.
Mix buttermilk and vanilla together. Combine all together, then add soda to boiling water and pour into other ingredients (grease pan).
Cook 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
(Use buttermilk icing.)
